Partner with MSPMesh

MSP Mesh is a decentralized, all-volunteer community organization focusing on the educational and community aspects of radio networking for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Started in May 2024, MSPMesh has developed partnerships with businesses and municipalities to help further our goal of providing a subscription-free, no-license-needed, grid-independent digital communication system that can be used any time, from emergency situations or even for everyday communicating with family and friends.

We are always looking for locations to place our solar powered radio “Nodes” to help service more of the Twin Cities metro (and beyond). If you have a building rooftop, radio tower, or other tall structure on which you are able to donate a tiny amount of space for our ultra-low-impact hardware, reach out to us and we will be happy to talk with you and check it out!

Our radio devices:

Use solar power (no power needed from a building, etc)
Use no internet, cell towers, etc (no data cabling needed)
Transmit and receive on a public license-free radio frequency (902-928mhz, the same that old cordless phones used)
Will not interfere with other radio/networking devices that are already installed
Are very small (typically about the size of an iPad or a children’s shoe box)
Typically require maintenance once or twice a year, and usually can be done remotely.
